This incredible project, coordinated by Natural Resources Institute Finland – Luke/ Luonnonvarakeskus (Luke) , aims to foster resilient and competitive production systems while enhancing ecosystem services from degraded and marginal soils.
A consortium of 9 countries, 17 partners (1 associate partner), 6 research organizations, and 11 industry partners.
The goal 🎯 is to facilitate sustainable fibre value chains within European industries.
We’re proud to be part of this project and collaborate with Food4Sustainability to create textile yarns made from thistle fibers. 🧵
Together, we’re paving the way for innovative and sustainable solutions in the textile industry, while promoting the use of alternative and eco-friendly materials. 🍃
